Thank you Anaheim Public Library for purchasing these new Ozobots for us to use in our summer camps and future programs! We are excited to incorporate them into our coding curriculum. They provide screen-free coding and are great for teaching computational thinking, logic, and software programming.

Today wrapped up our final lesson for the Spring semester's Intermediate Python workshop series. We got together twice a month for an hour each time, and the students picked up a lot of new skills. Today, we went over everything we've learned and celebrated with an end-of-semester party full of snacks. There was an Emergency Evacuation because of a chemical spill a few blocks away, so we were glad to welcome any students affected by it who were staying at the nearby emergency shelter. Big...

We learned the concept of string slicing and how to extract words and phrases from sentences or strings. We played games around these concepts and went over practice problems as well.
